One could say I grew up in the luxury business. I’ve attributed most of my business practices to a keen understanding of how luxury brands work – and how their loyal followers feel about them. Large or small, from corporate enterprises to sole proprietorships, almost every business struggles with building a solid brand. What might To View More >>

We always have a lovely selection of Q frames leaving dispatch, so I thought it was about time to share one! This beautiful Q Pro Frame is of sisters Tamsin and Georgie. Their dad Paul bought a gift voucher for their Portrait shoot with Borrowed Light Photography to surprise their mum Anna for mother’s day last year. The 9 aperture grid is a popular mat choice - perfect for displaying a selection of candid shots. This frame is a 14x14 Q Pro Box Frame. Queensberry Pro frames are high quality frames designed to look good and last. For more information on Q Frames click To View More >>

Predictability: You can send your files to the To View More >>

That recent New York Times article caused a kerfuffle by highlighting the impact of digital imaging, photo sharing, stock photography etc. In a nutshell, how does a professional photographer survive and thrive when imagery is everywhere, and generally free or nearly so? Or as Seth Godin put it, how are "average photographers" going to make a living shooting weddings "when the guests can do almost as well and all the photos are going on flickr anyway"? Case in point... Our own Danny married Natalie recently. Needless to say they hired a photographer ... but if they hadn't? They have heaps of photos To View More >>
